Web Site Marketing and Link Exchanging
Google still controls 85% of all internet traffic and it requires a lot of quality links coming into your site before it will rank your major keywords (sites passing PR (Page Rank). You can Pay Per Click to gain this traffic, however, you will probably have to do this for for the life of your site unless you gather links. The best solution is to gather quality links that pass PR. I charge $5.00 per link submitted but I only seek quality links that will either bring PR or traffic from sites that are related to yours but will not compete with your business and steal potential clients. Some sites update their link pages immediately and some take up to 6 months and they don't accept all links so there is no guarantee the link will be accepted, or when, but most of them do accept the link.

This is paid advertisement we organize and manage for you using companies like Google Adwords and Miva to get your site exposure when Internet users type in specific related keywords into search engines. Copy and Content Writing
On the Web, "copy" is a name for the text content of each page. Our copy writing service is for clients who want new content written for pages, or who need their existing content to be proofread, edited or re-written. We do research on your topics and work with you to create effective pages. For clients who hire us to build a new site, the cost of the copy writing is included in the price.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
We offer two standard optimization packages; they differ in the type of "keywords" used in the optimization. Here are some definitions:
Keyword: a word or phrase that customers use to search for your product. This is the word or phrase customers enter into the "Search" line on the Search engine. The Search Engine looks on the Internet for Web sites containing the keyword or key phrase. We want people to find your Web site, so we use keywords in the Web site design.
Primary Keyword: This keyword is the most descriptive, most frequently used keyword for your product. "Health care" and "Money problems" are popular primary keywords. The Web site design includes these words carefully so the Search Engines rank your site above most other sites. The competition for primary keywords is extremely strong, traffic is high, and winning can be extremely profitable.
Secondary KeyWords: These key phrases are not as competitive as primary keywords, but instead focus on a niche within a primary market. For example, "second mortgage" is a hotly contested primary keyword in the Search Engines. Secondary keywords for niche mortgage markets are "second mortgage lender" or "second mortgage home loan." Because your secondary keywords are more focused on your actual target market, customers who find your site are more likely to buy. Secondary keywords can be quite profitable.

Photography
Carbon Quill uses the finest Digital Single Lens equipment coupled with state of the art software to make your photos come alive. Life is about colour and we have an eye for it. Photography rates are $65.00/hr either in house or on location and does not include travel time and other expenses.
Consulting
If you need someone to advise you on how to fix broken code on your site or getting it to validate or other problems affecting your rank in search engines there is a consultation fee: $65.00/hour
Terms and Conditions
Prohibited Use
Carbon Quill Publishing prohibits the use of its servers for:
* Illegal material, such as commercial audio, video or music files or any other copyrighted works, for which the account holder does not have the permission of the coyright holder, or any other material in violation of Canadian Law
* Adult material, such as pornography, erotic images or otherwise lewd or obscene content
* Racist, defamatory, obscene, indecent or other unlawful material
* 'Warez', such as pirated software, ROMS, emulators, instructions or software for phreaking, hacking, password cracking or IP spoofing etc
* Sites engaging in or promoting pyramid sales, Multi Level Marketing or similar activities
* Engaging in illegal activities
Account holders will not post (nor allow to be posted) web or WAP pages containing such material or links to such material, nor shall they store such material in their server space, nor shall they transmit such material by email or any other means.
Carbon Quill Publishing reserve the right to determine whether any material or use is prohibited.
Carbon Quill Publishing reserve the right to remove any such material without warning and suspend or terminate accounts without refund or notice.
Spam (unsolicited email)
Carbon Quill Publishing prohibits spam (the sending of unsolicited bulk email). Carbon Quill Publishing will terminate any account, without refund, for which the account holder has sent unsolicited bulk emails.
Payment for existing Web Hosting Accounts
All web hosting accounts are sold on a one year and/or monthly prepay basis. The full payment for a full year's service is required at the time of placing your order and any monthly payments not recieved within 4 weeks (30 calendar days) of invoice are subject to suspension/termination at our discretion. These terms are non negotiable.
A late charge of $10 will be applied after 1 day from the due date of any late Monthly Payment. If payment is not received by Carbon Quill Publishing within 10 days of the due date, Carbon Quill Publishing has the option of terminating the Client’s Web Hosting Services. These terms are non negotiable.
Carbon Quill Publishing reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to deactivate the Clients Web Hosting account(s) upon an indication of credit problems including delinquent payments. These terms are non negotiable.
Payment can be made via online paypal or check with the information on your invoice.
Termination
(1) Client may cancel the Web Hosting Services upon the conditions that requests for cancellation must be made in writing with 30 days prior notice and sent to Carbon Quill Publishing. Cancellation will not take effect until received. The used pro-rata time portion of Annual/Monthly Payment that has been made is not refundable unless cancellation is requested in the first thirty (30) days. Setup fees are not refundable.
(2) Carbon Quill Publishing reserves the right to suspend Web Hosting Services without notice for any unpaid or partially paid balances. The Client is responsible for any legal fees incurred for the collection of any unpaid amounts. Carbon Quill Reserves the right to terminate any account at any time for any reason.
(3) The renewal date for accounts will be one calendar year from the date of purchase or the date of previous renewal. Account renewal reminders will be sent by email about one calendar month in advance of renewal date. Payment must be received prior to renewal date.
(4) Any domain names registered for clients under Carbon Quill Publishing that have an outstanding balance or non payment become the property of Carbon Quill Publishing and may be purchased back after a six (6) month time period. These terms are non negotiable by Carbon Quill Publishing and its domain name registrars. At any time Carbon Quill Publishing may elect to resell any unpaid domain to recoup any losses incurred. Domains registered on behalf of a client/s and not paid after 30 days of registration become property of Carbon Quill Publishing and may be purchased at projected future domain value estimates.
(5) All website content from Suspended/Terminated accounts become the sole property of Carbon Quill Publishing. Source files can be obtained on Compact Disc (CD) via Canada Post mail to the original account owner for a non refundable charge of $100.00. Payment must be made prior to sending of any original source files. Files will be mailed out within 30 days of payment.
(6) Once an account is Terminated/Suspended Carbon Quill Publishing assumes no responsibility for the original website content and it is up to the individual/company/client to obtain their source files in a timely fashion. See Subsection 5.
(7) Failure to pay within any of these time limits will cause suspension of the account or additional facilities until payment is received.
(8) Failure to pay deposit for contact or commissioned work within 30 days will deem any previous contract null and void. Any domain names purchased or secured under such contract estimate become property of Carbon Quill Publishing and will be subject to the terms and conditions of Subsection 4. |
